   The crows in America where I grew up are pure black. Some crows here in Russia are black but most or mixed.

   Well, I think we have the both: the crows and ravens. The ravens are much bigger than the crows and are pure black.

   Hey Lidmila,

   That is correct and many times the raven is called a crow. But they are different as you pointed out.

   In America they have Ravens and crows and they are all black. Crows are smaller. We have a color that we call crow black and it would fit the Raven here.
