I found this wheel last summer in 2014 and just love it. It is huge and still solid. I found three more, much smaller and next year I will get them back to the village house too. This one is so heavy and was hard to drag several kilometers…
Have a nice day…

Windows to Russia…
Chess is played everywhere in Russia. It is played outside even when it is freezing cold. It is played in the summer as the wind blows. It is played on a rainy day as the drops of rain tap tap on the roof. It is even played on a trip to town on the electric train…
Russians love chess…

Windows to Russia…
This highway is the best I have seen it for awhile. This is the main road to our village. Sveta and Boza are checking it out and I am taking pictures…
As you see by the road surface it is well traveled and we have to watch out for cars all the time…
Have a nice day…

Russian Photos from Russia!
In Russia since winter is more than half the year, mothers pull their kids around in sleds all the time. Everywhere you go you see moms pulling kids to the store and to other places on a sled. Here is the front of a day care. The sleds are the normal method of transportation for your little kid…
As you see some sleds are pulled and some are pushed…
I have seen people knock their kids off the sleds and the kid is stuck in the snow and can not get up! Mom just keeps on going oblivious to the kid being gone. Until the screams are heard…
Maybe it is better to push than pull…

This is a picture of he new taxis in Moscow. Taxis must be licensed and registered now. But that does not stop the drivers from acting any different than before…
I guess it is the spot for that extra guest that you have once in awhile…

I was walking Boza today and Boza and I had a close call with a stupid driver. The photo above is what the driver left behind after he tried to back over Boza and I…
I am not sure what the reason for the poor driving skills. Could be stolen car, drugs, alcohol or stupidity. Actually it could be all four…
They started to back up and Boza and I jumped out of the way. They proceeded to hit the light pole. Shattered their tail light and never stopped to see what they hit. So they would have hit Boza and I and never cared…
I don’t think the car was stolen because we watched the person get in the car and they had keys. But you never know…
Speed Racer is off…

Our local rail station and the men are working on the tracks. We have a nice rail station and can get to Moscow center in about 25 minutes. We have what is called fast trains or slow trains. The one in the picture is a slow train that and takes 40 minutes to get us to Moscow Center. They stop at all rail stations on the way…

Svetlana travels this Metro almost everyday of her life and today she captured on film a Moscow in mourning.
One of the little known facts about this
Metro bombing was that most of the victims are young adults suffering from massive internal injuries. That is because this was also known as the University line. (At least that is what I call it.) Students are traveling to the Moscow University to attend classes…
The massive internal injuries where caused in part by the fact that the explosives were designed on purpose to have excess shrapnel in them. The plastic explosive was embedded with nails, nuts, bolts and other small metal objects. Then when the explosion goes off it sends hundreds of projectiles in all directions to maximize injuries and death…
The dead and injured include students from around the world also. That information will be brought out later in time.

Waiting for a Train?
Nope – just waiting for his buddies to quit playing with the tracks!
Is this what you call a guard Dog?
Just way too cool! Boza and I were out on a walk and took a back path near the woods. We came upon a road made long ago and it was made from old steam radiators. They I am sure were put down for traction and to keep cars from sinking in the mud. This road is hundreds of meters long and in places is two lanes still visible. All I can say is Cool…
